The University of Avignon is pleased to announce the launch of the Mistral scholarship programme for academic year 2010-11. This programme is aimed at international students who wish to enroll in Master's courses offered by our institution.

• Students can apply for a scholarship for entry in the first (M1) or the second year of any of the Master's courses offered at University of Avignon. More information on the Master's courses offered at the University of Avignon is available on our website (http://www.univ-avignon.fr/fr/formations/choix/liste/grade/masters.html).
• Applicants must have a very good academic record.
• Prior be applying for a Mistral scholarship, the student must be admitted into one of the Master's courses offered at the University of Avignon (an admission certificate must be provided).
• The total amount of each scholarship is € 6,000 for the whole academic year. Mistral Students who have successfully completed the 1^st year of a Master's in 2010-11 and are admitted into the 2^nd year in 2011-12 can benefit from another scholarship of € 4,500 for 2011-12.
• Each applicant must be sponsored by a lecturer from the University of Avignon (a support letter must be provided).
• Each applicant must be recommended by a lecturer from his/her home institution (a letter of recommendation must be provided).
• Priority will be given to students from partner institutions of the University of Avignon as well as to students from developing and emerging countries.
• International students already residing in France are not eligible.
• Application deadline at the University of Avignon: 23^th April 2010.
