ARACIS Quality Certification (2014)
It was handed over to the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu on Friday, November 14, 2014, by to ARACIS, the certificate attesting the High Confidence Degree obtained by ULBS following the institutional evaluation.
The Council of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) decided, following the external evaluation in March of this year of the level quality institutional, awarding the highest grade to the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, namely the High Confidence rating. By the way, all the programs study evaluated by the ARACIS commission received the highest rating- Trust.
President of ARACIS, prof. Univ. dr. eng. Iordan Petrescu, came to Sibiu on Friday to grant the management of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu the certificate and to address to the Sibiu academic community the message of the Romanian Agency of Quality Assurance in Higher Education:
In the 45 years that” Lucian Blaga “University of Sibiu has gone through, the road has not been easy, but in honor of all those who honored it, as teachers or students, each has contributed through enthusiasm, competence and dedication, at the erection of this modern edifice. The work you have done has materialized through the generations of students you educated and trained to perform in Romanian society and beyond, through the scientific contributions of the faculty, and your effort is recognized by the award by ARACIS of the Higher Degree of Trust.”
“Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu thus retains its qualification Degree of High Trust obtained in the previous evaluation, in 2009. This rating, together with the positive evaluations made by the European University Association and the internationalization assessments received by ULBS from The Council of Europe, proves once again that the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu is a strong university, where excellence in education and research is raises to international standards.
“These results honor us and, at the same time, motivate us to continue improving all the activities of the University: the didactic and scientific ones, the support activities, as well as the management ones”, said prof. univ. Eng. Ioan Bondrea, rector of the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu.
University Teacher. dr. eng. Ioan Bondrea thanked the entire academic community a “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu and students for their work and efforts submitted day by day, appreciating that the positive results obtained in all evaluations national and international events that ULBS has gone through are due to them.
