APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED BY THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION FOR LUCIAN BLAGA UNIVERSITY OF SIBIU INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Academic year 2022/2023

Who can apply?

• foreign students (except the Romanian Abroad students and the Romanian citizens residing abroad) enrolled at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (except those who are in a final year of studies) who have completed at least one year of study, in a full-time study programme (excepting the preparatory year) and have obtained a minimum average 7.00;

Eligibility criteria and ranking

1. Overall average for all passed years of study – 7 points

* The 7 points will be awarded as follows:

• 7 points: overall average for the passed years of study between 9.01 – 10.00
• 6 points: overall average for the passed years of study between 8.01 – 9.00
• 5 points: overall average for the passed years of study between 7.01 – 8.00

1. b) Student’s motivation to apply for this scholarship (Letter of motivation and, if applicable, supporting documents attesting it) – 1 point
2. c) Extracurricular activity during studies (Proof of participation in volunteer actions / training programs / specialization in the field of study / participation in conferences, involvement in national / international / research projects, etc.) – 1 point
3. d) Letter of recommendation from a professor from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu or from another higher education institution in Romania / or another specialist in the field – applicable to candidates for undergraduate / master’s degree studies – 1 point

  Application file:

1. a) application form (Annex 1)
2. b) transcript of records for each year of study (except the preparatory year), for the candidates requesting the continuation of the undergraduate studies;
3. c) copy of the bachelor’s degree and the diploma supplement (transcript) or certificate showing the school situation for all years of study, as well as the grades obtained at the bachelor’s exam (for graduates of the current year) for candidates requesting continuation of master’s studies degree, doctorate or postgraduate education in the field of health, as the case may be;
4. d) curriculum vitae, list of scientific papers, specialized publications, papers, recommendations from at least two university teachers or specialists in the field – for candidates for doctoral studies;
5. e) legalized copy of the birth certificate;
6. f) copy of the passport;
7. g) copy of the residence permit in Romania;
8. h) letter of motivation (and, if applicable, supporting documents attesting to this motivation);
9. i) supporting documents regarding the participation of extra-curricular activities (volunteering actions / training internships / specialization internships in the field of study, participation in conferences, involvement in national / international / research projects, etc.)
10. j) letter of recommendation from a professor from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu or from another higher education institution in Romania / or another specialist in the field – applicable to candidates for undergraduate / master’s degree studies
